Dear Yat-tung, and all, How are you?I am sending you the migration news about S21 banded from Yeonpyungdo at 2013 year.S21 has moved to Fuzhou at 27th May. It has started to migrate in early morning of 26th May from Maipo, Hong Kong.It has passed by Quangzhou at 23:00 and arrived on the coast of Putian. and It again flew to Fuzhou and staying on there. It is the place tht S21 stayed for 5 days during the southern migration in last Oct. S21 has spent all winter in Hong Kong from 5th Nov. 2013 until 25th May. 2014. Maipo reserve was the main roosting site. . It used to go to Wetland Park and Nam Sang Wei until April. seldom to Inner Deep bay and Shenzhen. But it has changed the main feeding sites to the tidal zone of Inner Deep bay at May. It is so interesting! I hope it can migrate along the coast of China in safe and going back again to HK. By the way, I found A26 which was rescued and banded from Hong Kong caused by Botulism at Jan. 2002. The color bands just remained yellow and blue. I could identify it was A26 by wrinkle shape of the upper bill. A26 was raising 2 chicks at 10th May on the breeding island, Sokdo, Incheon. I think the chicks are now almost leaving the nest. The age of A26 could be at least 16 years old, and it would be the oldest breeding one in wild by banding records.I hope it can come again to breed in next year. Now I am so busy to check the breeding sites of BFSpoonbills in Korea. I could find 17 breeding islands until now. The breeding population was summed on the highest records in this year, over 700 pairs. It should be hard works to check all islands by myself without any supports. I was exhausted and even no money to rent the boat for survey. Fortunately, I expect to conduct the banding project supported by National monument Center from 3-4 islands. I am going to band the chicks at June. I wish your encouraging words. Best wishes, Kisup Lee
