Dear Nikey and all,
I just read the reports about the BFSpoonbill with broken leg visited for 9 years on Chigu, Taiwan.
I inform you I saw the one without left foot breeding on Gujido on last year, 25-26, June, 2011.
I don't know it is the same one. But I was so impressed with it, because it hurted the left leg and hard to walk on the slope of the breeding place, even difficult to sit down and stand up.
It had small chicks, but I don't know it grew up the chicks successfully.
If it is the same one, it will be so wonderful news.
I attach the photos of it.
I also saw T28, T39 and A01 on same time . They were also raising chicks. A01 had no main band. I attached the photos of it on the band information webpage.
About the ones with PTTs,
I found E37 and E44 all went to back to Budai recently. E48 (Putian) and E50 (Fuqing) on the same place in China.
By the way,
We are going to hold the symposium on 28-30 June on Ganghwa. It is focusing with Hong Kong and China, but if you like to attend it, please contact me.
I have the plan to attach color bands mainly on 6-8 June, and 6-8 July.
Best wishes,
Kisup Lee
